Come on UPS....

I officially made it through date day...well most of it anyway.

I came home in nothing but solid ice. I made Breakfast pizza, had bananas, milk, and juice at work for the kids. I had to wake them up early since they were going to have to leave for church early because of all of the black ice. Most of them got up normally without complaints. They all came down to eating my Breakfast pizza and were thrilled!!! I'm so glad they like it. I ended up making enough for everyone in the house to have two BIG squares of it. Just in case anyone is wondering how it is made....

Biscuit crust, breakfast gravy, sausage, ground ham, bacon, scrambled eggs, and CHEESE!!!

Quite tasty, although I didn't get any. I just wanted to come home for date day. I vowed I would make it through this one- AWAKE!

I came home and by the time I got to Ashland all was well with the ice. I just happen to be lucky and take all the back roads, that don't get salted, to get to work. It shaves on 14 miles each way and saves on gas. I still had one of my sweet teas left surprisingly so we just stopped and got Ben a coffee along the way. First stop was JoAnn Fabrics!!! I was gonna get the chocolate melting pot that I had so despritely thought about all weekend. I decided against it since it was so close to Christmas. I looked around for the LorAnn's Candy Oils with no success. Insert explitive here...@#$^@#$%#^@@%%$@!!!!!!! Okay...so I'm a little angry about not finding them. It's like the whole world doesn't have them. I think I could get them at Food Dock but they are gay and are closed on Sunday's and Monday's, plus I don't like how it smells like old musty basement when I walk in there. It should smell like food- not a leftover gym bag from 10 years ago. I had a bunch of 50% off coupons that I printed out. Thinking maybe just maybe I would find something I wanted. I did find some fleece that I wanted. I got a yard of it half off to make a mini blanket (for a little person provided we get one of those someday).....So here I was...11 coupons left and NOTHING else in my hands. So I played Santa Clause!!! I randomly went around to people in the store giving them a 50% off coupon. They all intially looked at me like I was insane and who in the world is walking up to me...do I know them??? I just smiled and said I printed off extra here you go, Merry Christmas. They were all happy and smiled back when they looked at the paper and said Thank you. I then promptly high-tailed it to the registers and checked out before any of the employees found out I was the one who just passed out 11 50% off coupons to strangers and cost them $$.....Ben looked at me like what are you doing?? I just told him to run and stop fooling around. He gladly started galloping towards the door because we all know how much Ben LOVES going to JoAnn Fabrics...it's like his favorite store in the whole world.

By this time it was after 11am. Neither one of us had eaten breakfast because we decided just to do an early lunch. We thought about the new Ocean Buffet (hoping it was like the one that closed in Ashland)...I really couldn't decide and wasn't sure if I wanted to pay for it if it wasn't the same and waste our money on crap food. I didn't want to go through a drive-thru (afterall this was a date) I didn't want to hit any of our normal places and I was really hungry for Logan's but I refuse to go there when they don't have there 2 for $13.99 deal because it is so expensive. I was still thinking mashed potatoes....and waaalaaaa....CRACKER BARREL.....popped into my head. Ben was like are you serious??? But we drove the 20 minute drive there anyhow. We walked right in and sat down (on a Sunday at high noon??? what are the odds?). We both had a really tasty meal and proceeded back to the mall.

The mall was crazy ridiculous. Way to many freaking people pushing and shoving. I saw lots of people just randomly changing their kids diapers out in the open. The food court there is sooo gay now. Sabarro pizza isn't even there...Losers. The music store is going out of business and most of the stores are just lame or weird or high priced. We tried pushing our way through places. I did get to go to my kitchen collection store (which is sad that it is only open during Christmas-how aggitating). I'm leisurely walking and this teen girl in this puffy blue and fur collared coat was texting and literally walking @#$%^^$Q@ circles around me. I stopped...back up and said WOW! as loud as I could. She gave me this ugly face and rolled her eyes. I started laughing. I couldn't help it. She walked away for a moment...only to come back AGAIN!...This was it. I took my best "move it or it is on like donkey kong girlfriend" pose and just said "Seriously????" and she finally just left the store. This girl couldn't have been more than say 13 or 14....My first thought was what the heck was this all about...then I thought maybe she was trying to pick pocket me and act like she was texting instead...Either way I still had my wallet and numnuts was gone....We decided not to fight the mall anymore and Ben promised to take me to OUAC...and I literally found nothing. I walked in and walked out...guess they got raided at their sale yesterday. We went to Barnes and Noble where I wanted to get the new Christmas Cookie Craft book...but found it to be slightly like crap and not worth buying for $25....I picked up this book towards the way out and thought it was neat...had this really big cute furry tiger on it and it had a Noble sticker on it...Ben looked at me and said...uh those are for donation...I looked around to see if anyone had seen my bright read face, dropped the book and left the store. We made one more stop at GFS to try and find the candy oils....NOTHING....helped some old lady find this HUGE can of Waterchesnuts for those bacon wrap thingies, grabbed this industrial size restaurant jar of pepperocini's for Ben who was so excited...considering the two small jars he goes through in a week cost about $4 when this HUGE jar was only $5.93 after tax.

Here is where the date officially ends....I fell asleep in the car on the way home....No putting up the tree....sniff sniff...I came in and laid on the couch an fell asleep for almost 3 hours. I woke up to Ben handing me pizza and a diet caffiene free pepsi....Yes folks....my best friend made me pizza- my second favorite food after mashed potatoes with chicken gravy of course. I ate the pizza and got down to the last few bites and fell asleep holding the plate. Ben took me upstairs, tucked me into bed with all my ten thousand covers, played with my hair till I fell asleep. I woke up like an hour later and found that ELF was on tv...I called Ben (yes I called him from my phone when he was only downstairs) and told him to come up and watch it with me I was awake. He said sure. I don't remember him coming.....I fell asleep again....WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?!?!?!

I woke up at 5:30am when Ben was HOT and had to open the window more and turn the fan up....By then I was awake...I played on facebook on my phone. Got dressed...realized I lost my wallet out of my pants pocket from yesterday....INSTANT flashback to puffy blue coat, texting girl from yesterday...I ran downstairs and out to the car...no wallet....Please please please be in the couch where I originally fell asleep yesterday....and SUCCESS!!!!...shoved Nemo off the couch and found it in the crack of the couch....

I wrote on here and checked my UPS status of the fertility package.....still doesn't have an update...but it says that it is scheduled for delivery today. So needless to say, I'm awake and excited like today is Christmas.

Now I'm hungry, I was thinking about trying that new Donut Connection out by Walmart, but I'm not sure if it is good or not and could it really beat out the old standby of Hawkins or Marathon's Krispy Kremes???

At any rate....I'm off to find some doughnuts with my "crack" money from the couch. ha ha....
